Does the Upper Room belong to a particular denomination?
The Upper Room is officially part of the Presbyterian Church (USA), however the individuals who make up the Upper Room come from many denominational backgrounds.
What do you offer for children?
We provide care for young children during our worship service. Our child care volunteers all have child protection clearance.
Where can I park?
The dry cleaner’s parking lot at the end of our block is available to Upper Roomers on Sundays only.
On-street parking is available on our block and surround streets. The parking meters are not enforced on Sundays.
Are you accessible by public transportation?
Yes. The 61C and 61D bus lines stop half-a-block away from the church.
What is your worship like?
At Upper Room, We worship liturgically and relationally:
Liturgically: We worship using the same written prayers and music each Sunday for 4-6 weeks.
Relationally: We worship in a relaxed setting in the round. We also include time for sharing celebrations and prayer requests and praying for one another.
